From slab to sealed counter

Consult
Tell us about the space, the stone you like, and your timeline. We can meet on site and bring samples.

Measure
We measure the kitchen or bath and confirm sink, cooktop, faucet, and edge details.
- 03
Template
A precise template of your cabinets is made before anything is cut.
- 04
Fabricate
Your slab is cut and finished to the template, edges and cut-outs included.
- 05
Install & seal
Installation usually takes one to two days. We seal natural stone before we leave.
What to expect
Before, during, and after
Before we arrive
- Cabinets should be installed, level, and secured before templating.
- Have your sink, faucet, and cooktop chosen (or on site) so cut-outs are exact.
- Tell us if old countertops need to come out; we plan removal with the installation.
Installation day
- Most installations take one to two days, depending on the size of the project.
- We place seams where the stone and layout hide them best and match veining across pieces.
- Natural stone is sealed before we leave.
After
- Let sealer and adhesives cure as we advise before heavy use.
- Clean with warm soapy water or a stone-safe cleaner only. See the care guide.

Process questions
How long does the whole process take?
It depends on the stone and the schedule. Installation itself usually takes one to two days; templating and fabrication happen before that. We give you a timeline at the quote.
Do I need to be home for the template?
Someone should be there to give access and confirm details like sink placement and edge profile.
Do you bring samples?
Yes. If you are not sure which stone you want, we bring samples to the on-site visit.
