How it works

On site first, then a quote

Sealing, stain removal, and repairs are priced by the job, so we start with a look at the stone. Contact us to describe the surface and the problem, and we will set up a meeting on site. Large and commercial installations are welcome.

Signs your stone needs attention

  • Water darkens the surface instead of beading up.
  • Rings or dark patches near the sink or cooktop.
  • Dull spots on marble where lemon, vinegar, or wine sat.
  • A chipped edge or a seam that has opened.

Keep it sealed longer

Use only warm soapy water or a cleaner made for stone. Never use anything acidic or abrasive, and keep bleach products away from the surface. See our care guide.

Questions

Sealing and repair questions

How do I know if my counters need resealing?

Drip a little water on the stone. If it soaks in and darkens the surface within a few minutes instead of beading, it is time to reseal.

Does quartz need sealing?

No. Engineered quartz is non-porous. Sealing is for natural stone: granite, quartzite, marble, and dolomite.

Can a stain be removed from natural stone?

Often, yes, depending on the stain and how long it has been there. We assess it on site and tell you what to expect before starting.

Do you seal commercial stone?

Yes. We work on residential and commercial installations across DFW.
